Profound thoughts from an Italian man, between mountain and sea in Abruzzo region central Italy.
His name is Fabrizio Sulli and all began with the word "resilient".
Toxic spirituality and detachment from reality.
In recent years we are witnessing an explosion of holistic paths and disciplines for the search of oneself, towards awareness and a better balance. Which is only good, but there are too many shortcomings.
Dozens of new professional figures are emerging, gurus, holy men, writers, newly improvised shamans, experts, courses, terminologies and attitudes that result in real clichés and genre jargons (general slangs). For a fee or not, it makes no difference if we analyze the sore points and shortcomings of all this inner "evolution":
- detachment from reality and its material problems to be solved, seen as useless burdens to let go, unnecessary. With the elimination of all forms of social struggle because it is considered superfluous and heavy.
- the detachment from getting involved in social relationships (in social relating) and with oneself. In a drift of relational disposable where the "let go, let it flow", the avoidance, the blame game, the universal laws (made by whom then?!) of attraction, mirror, karma or mental blowjobs are venerated of some crafty outburst eager to earn on the discomfort of others.
- the widespread irresponsibility of delegating our decisions to faith, destiny, the universe, the star fleet or whoever.
- almost in contrast to the previous point, the indirect guilt of the individual takes place. Who is seen as the author of everything that happens to him, in an anthropocentric spiral as if everything revolved around him and the needs of him and the others did not exist at all, or did not have free will as sentient individuals organized autonomously or in masses. So if a girl is raped, her soul has called her soul into her path to open her third eye. Or a people oppressed, killed and bombed is necessary for others to "evolve".
But aren't you ashamed?
- the stigmatization of some emotions, bearers of "low frequencies". Which leads to a sort of positivity at all costs, finding what is considered negative, putting on a mask.
One has the pretension of leaving a matrix to enter another of a new age religious nature.
When every emotion based on feeling is sacred and increases, enriches, it is worthy of being lived without judgement.
In the decadence and frustration of feeling trapped, I believe that something very dangerous is happening, perfectly functional to the current social organization because it is harmless.
Instead of organizing themselves to claim their rights to a home, to land, to a comfortable nest, to a fair life without prevarication, exploitation, speculation and legal or illegal lace payments, most of the people adhering to alternative currents are losing themselves in a religious drift.
Forgetting that we are not disconnected from nature, from the rest of humanity, and from real, tangible problems created not by evil entities but by other human beings like us. Get organized with money and weapons. Self-referential.
And that the spiritual search and the self, of new forms of communication, respect, decisions, cannot turn a blind eye and not take a stand towards inequalities.
If we want to change the world we should also do so by physically opposing it with acts, actions and not giving our consent to those who want to destroy and ban life or tax it in all its forms.
I want to clarify that I like and sympathize with all forms of spirituality, but something is being forgotten!
It won't be pretending nothing happened, singing with the drum in the woods posing as shamans, making rallies and fires, selling sacred handicrafts, wearing necklaces or taking real levels, yoga, blasting myself with grass and mushrooms, or doing ecoveg agri-camping fucking glamping, or the farm project with state money and a noose around his neck, to stop those who taxed their lives and being able to nest like any other animal on this sacred land.
It will only be gardening, covering your ass instead of thinking about a common social and environmental welfare.
Unfortunately, this is the drift of most of the Italian alternative experiences. Which may work, but are they reproducible? Do they solve cost of living, constraints, taxes, bureaucracy? Or have they stooped into passive acceptance of the status quo?
I'm starting to get tired and exhausted from the social isolation in which those who point out the enormous dispersion of energy that is taking place find themselves. Towards sterile concepts that create even more confusion in the soul instead of simplifying. The annulment of every ideology and culture, of historical memory, of the ability to oppose, organize and resist is leading us to the flattening of every critical and fighting capacity.
It's now very rare to find, even in social circles that go towards natural life and inner ecology, someone who still knows how to think with their own head without spewing bullshit and wanting to indoctrinate you. And if you don't comply, you are isolated as if you don't respect the dictates of the sect.
To get out of this block and change things, we need to roll up our sleeves (Italian saying similar to "get back on trek") and realize that the aspects of material reality and interiority/inwardness go hand in hand, are connected and interdependent. Looking at just one will only lead to a new cage. Golden, illusory. But reality will always be out there and will only change if we decide to make it better for everyone.
